Bizcomzero (Business Competition Zero) is a student innovation and marketing competition aims to stress the importance of marketing research as a strategic tool in the development of marketing plans.

CONTEST RULES AND GUIDELINES

The outputs of this competition only need to be well-formulated ideas and marketing plan. Contestants do not need to physically create their products, but illustrations are needed.
Description on the product ideas and marketing plan shall be written in English.
The product can be inspired from an existing product and/or technology, as long as it does not replicate or fully copy an existing consumer product.
Contestants must apply as a team with maximum of four persons.
Team may consists of full time D3 and S1 students of colleges or universities in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia and must be in their second year or more in college
Participants must still be in student status by end of December 2012
Participants cannot be employees of any firms or business which can be construed as the competitor to PT. Sony Indonesia
Team members can be students of different departments and/or schools (interdisciplinary collaboration)
In the case of mixed membership (of different schools) then the team leader’s school will be represented
A student can only be a member of one team (cross-team membership disallowed)
PT. Sony Indonesia claims Intellectual Property (IP) rights on all submitted ideas
Decisions of the JURY are final. The JURY will not accommodate any argument(s)
Violation of any rule(s) can lead to automatic disqualification to the member and/or the team
Submissions will only be accepted electronically via the online submission form.

PRIZES

1^st Team Winner: A trophy, certificate for each team member and Sony Products worth Rp.50.000.000,- (and possibility to fly to Sony Corporation Japan, if the product ideas is very outstanding)
2^nd Team Winner: A trophy, certificate for each team member and Sony Products worth Rp.25.000.000
3^rd Team Winner: A trophy, certificate for each team member and Sony Products worth Rp.12.000.000
Excellent Performer: A trophy, certificate for each team member and a Sony Product worth Rp.5.000.000
